How to Cite a Set of Images, Image, or drawing
Academic publications should refer to this website as www.regions-in-flux.org
In a publication, if you wish to cite either a set of images or an individual image or a drawing, it is best to cite the whole set, rather than their URLs:

For example, for the Othman Mosque in Girga:
www.regions-in-flux.org, see Girga – Othman Mosque

See the section below for the credit line.

In bibliographies, this resource should be given as:
Regions in Flux Digital Archive, 2022, available at www.regions-in-flux.org

Credit Line for Photograph or Drawing
The credit line for a photograph or drawing is the “name of the photographer/Regions in Flux”, which can be found by clicking on the thumbnail of the image, where this is given under “Credit”. This credit line must be used whenever a photograph or a drawing is published.

For example, for the drawing of the Deir Anba Bisada:

“Bianca Badalucco/Regions in Flux”. Academic publications should refer to this website as www.regions-in-flux.org.

Photographs and drawings are provided free, downloadable at medium resolution, for teaching, research. There are no forms to fill for permissions.

Normally publishers of printed publications will require you to provide images in “tif” format. To have a copy of the higher quality image, please contact us.
